We got off to a earlier start. Decided to hit a quilt shop on our way into Seattle. This quilt shop was called Pacific Fabrics and it got all 4 of us in a lot of trouble.
The Place was huge and well laid out,
we managed to spend a couple hours in there
and all walked out with at least one quilt worth
of material. Couple people in the group
who shall remain nameless brought material for 3-4+ quilts.

Once we left the quilt shop, we made our way to the Seattle Aquarium.
We managed to get stuck in traffic due to having to exit right next to the Safeco
stadium which had a baseball game starting. We laughed at the truck tipping sign.

Mom noticed there was a sea otter show starting in 20 minutes of arriving, we scrabble around
to find it in time for me. We weren't able to get front of glass spots, but I still got to watch some of the show. After the show once people moved on, was able to capture some pictures of the sea otters.
I always love watching the otters and consider them a favorite animal of mine

They have 2 river otters that were heading under a blanket when we visit. We were told
that this one has Asthma and knows how to use an inhaler.
This was a dome, you had fish swimming above you and all around you.

Once we finished at the aquarium, we made our way to the Chiculy Garden and Glass. This was something my mom and Cassie really wanted to see. I wasn't to interested in it, but once there I was amazed in it and really enjoyed looking at the all the different glass display. We weren't able to go the glass house because of some event being set up. The Chiculy Garden and Glass place is named after the artist Dale Chihuly.

Once we were done, we grab mom and walked around a little bit and stumbled onto a Polish festival that was just ending. We stopped at Starbucks and got drinks along with mom getting a treat (her words" since I didn't eat my french fries at supper time"
Driving home and we saw Mountain Rainer in front of us.
It was another beautiful, perfect day all around.
