One of the last remaining days......

Living in Minnesot*
You have many different kinds of weather.
When it is winter, people usually can't wait until spring.
When it is spring, people usually can't wait until Summer.
When it is summer, people usually can't wait until Fall.
When it is fall, people usually can't wait until Winter.
I am one of those peoples.
Love living in a multi season state.
My younger girls are off this week and I get to have a couple days off with them.  One of the days was Monday.  It was a beautiful day, so after Katie's doctor appt (that is a separate posting), we drove down a street and came to a parking lot.  Parked the car and started walk around.
This was the last picture I took of our day walking around.  We had a blast and could have stayed for a lot longer.

We found stairs that led us through a short woods to the Mississippi water.  Katie was doing splits
Hello Everyone.

Monika and Katie being silly and was trying to do a pose at the same time.

This baby is Monika's.  She got this baby when we adopted her at 10 months old.  She never was much of a doll child (none of my kids were).  For whatever reason she wanted to bring "baby Kylie" (named after her godmother's daughter) this time and was almost obsess with it.

 Sisterly love
Girls said I had to have a picture too.

When we first arrived there, the girls moaned and complained a little bit.  They wanted to go to a park and this definitely wasn't the kind of park they were thinking about.  I told them that we can still have fun.  Within 5 minutes, the kids were having a blast and we didn't want to leave after almost 2 hours of playing in the "woods" and beach area.  We had Monika's conference at school .  I am thankful that they were easily able to see that you can have fun no matter what, if you open your eyes and mind.  What a great afternoon.  Thank you Lord.
