Feeding one child at a time

This afternoon I got to participate in something so powerful.
It was the first time I have done this.
Monika and Jenny's GS troop was doing it, and Katie got to go along.
We went to:
What an amazing thing to volunteer and I didn't realized how strong and powerful God is involved with FMSC.  To able to have the impact on these children, to help the get what nourishment they can get from this organizations.  I was with Katie, but I didn't get to take any pictures as we were so busy working.  From start (the 10 minutes or so presentations, to packing, to 10 minutes afterwards) to finish was 2 hours.  Those two hours went by very fast.

These are the meal packs we packed.
Manna means:
This product name was chosen to capture both the nourishing qualities of the supplement and FMSC’s spiritual mission by using the word manna, which the dictionary defines as:
   1.   In the Bible, the food miraculously provided for the Israelites in the wilderness during their flight from Egypt.
   2.   Spiritual nourishment of divine origin.
   3.   Something of value that a person receives unexpectedly.

How cool is that.
We worked with a great team work, everyone knew what their job to do and we had a great system.
There was 112 volunteers today
We packed 110 boxes
Each box holds 36 bags
Each bag holds 6 children meals
23,760 meals were created today.
So wonderful that many children will be fed a meal today.
The girls really enjoyed it to and felt very proud in doing it.
This is something we will definitely do again.
PTL
And what even more awesome.  After we were all done and the volunteer told us the numbers, he said anyone that wants to pray over the food can go into the warehouse.  Almost everyone went back in the warehouse were there was 3 pallets with27 boxes on them and we prayed over them.
