Easter weekend all my girls were able to go with me up to my parents place for the weekend. Jade had flown home from DC (was there for spring break school function) Friday late afternoon and we headed up north. My neice Cassie and Koudai also joined us.
Saw this idea on FB/Piniterst. Glow in the dark Eggs. We did 60 eggs/items for the girls. The plan was to do it outside, but the weather didn't work out, so we hid them in the house.

Grandma made us stand outside and have a picture taken with snow, to show how much snow is still on the ground Easter dad and it is the last day of March.
When my girls were younger along with my neice and nephew, my dad built this box on the back of his 4 wheelers and would take them on long rides in the woods and road. As they have gotten older, they don't fit in it as well. My dad uses it to store other things in it now. It was a nice day for a ride
Off they go, my dad also worked on plowing the driveway as part of it is dirt road
My parents concerte part of the driveway had a couple layers of compact snow/ice on it, Koudai, Cassie and I worked on getting that off, I started to make a little river for the running/melting water to go so it wouldn't refreeze. Koudai decided to make an even bigger river. When the girls came back, I told them that while I was growing up, after a rain storm we would go outside and race twigs in the streams in the rodes, they at first didn't think it was a cool idea, but quick got into it.
Stream going on the grass too. You can see the standing water behind the car
Look closely at the picture you can see Koudai and Monika past the pine trees, that is how long of a stream we made.
It was a very nice, relaxing weekend up there. The girls were all relax and enjoying themselves and as usual my mom outdid herself with her cooking. I enjoyed going up there when I can, it is hard due to working every other weekend, but I do cherish those times with my parents.
