The Angle pictures are taken by Monika. I didn't realize she was doing it until almost the end
May 3 was her 4th American birthday and
it doesn't get any better each year,
she still doesn't like them.
She doesn't mind the presents.
But when she was turning 14,
she was afraid we were going to throw her out on the streets
as that is what they did in China.
At that time she was still learning to trust
and believe us.
Her 15th birthday she didn't say to much about it
and didn't complained about turning 15.
Her 16th birthday she was back to saying she didn't
want turn 16. She wasn't looking forward to it.
She can't explain why she doesn't like getting older
Now 17 was coming up and she was again complaining
about her birthday, but this time it because she
afraid of 18 and "being an adult".
I told her we will focus one day at a time
it hard for her to do that.
She still enjoyed the party and especially
the gifts as most of the gifts were
gift certificate that she has been saving for.

Erin doesn't like and frosting, so we did something different
and made pineapple cupcakes. They didn't turn
out to bad. We did it the shape of 17 wit h17 cupcakes.
It took her 3 tries to blow them all out.
One of her present from her mom and dad was
her first 5k run which she did with her dad made into
a college
She is amazing human being

although Erin doesn't care for hockey
For 2 birthdays and Christmas she has been saving
her best buy gift cards she been getting from everyone
plus cash from Dave's parent. She was able to get this
fancy camera with only using a little bit of her own money.
She has been enjoying the new camera and looking
forward to many.
Happy birthday to you Erin, you are amazing and don't let anyone forget that.
