Blank Park Zoo

Hello there, I tried blogging last night and having problems with the uploading of pictures. I am only able to get this picture to upload. On our way to Kansas we stopped in Iowa to go to the Blank Park Zoo. We had a lot of fun seeing the animals and feeding the hundreds of Koi's. We thought we were going to get rained out as it was cloudy and 60 degrees until about 5 miles before we got to the zoo...the temp. went up 12 degrees and the sun came out. When we got into the van 2 hours later it was now 88 degrees...We arrived at our friends shortly after supper, and the girls were happy to see their friends as we were happy to see ours. Today is a beautiful warm sunny day and we are heading to Kansas Zoo. Hopefully I will be able upload pictures. The above picture is from the zoo on the swing bridge. On a side note. Today marks 6 years from when we left MN to go to China to bring Monika into our family. It was cloudy and cool. We had so many feeling going thru us from becoming a family, anxious, scared, excited, worrying about SARS, would we pass, do we have everything, .
