we were pioneers in China.
We were adopting "twins",
yet they weren't "twins"
They were 10 weeks apart.
Our outstanding adoption agency and
Chinese Liason
performed miracles to allow us to
adopt two little girls that weren't biologically
related at the same time.
That was unheard of then.
We had to say they were twins even though
you could tell they look nothing alike
Katie was a couple inches taller then Jenny,
Their face, eyes, skin color are all different too.

Jenny was 23 1/2 months old when she was adopted.
She grieved hard in China
But loved and continues to love
talking with people about serious topics
especially books
She tries many different things
and really loves playing the viola,
Rock climbing and cooking.
Katie was 25 months old when she was adopted
she showed us right away
she is on the go girl.
Continues to love gymnastics and school.
It has been amazing 9 years and can't wait to see what the next 9 years and beyond will be like.
