September 21,
gymnastic competition season started.
Katie moved up a level to level 5.
Monika is doing a split season. She is starting
out in level 5 until state in December and then moves up to level 7.
Katie has transition to this level with no problem
One of the passes on the floor was a back handspring twice then a back tuck.
She was afraid she wasn't going to get it.
She did.

8 old girls and 5 new ones.
Everyone qualified to state.
Great job girls and coaches
Katie placed in all events
Last year she had all 9's in bars.
She is starting low on the bars.
Monika on the beam.
Monika has a lot of power of the floor.
Monika also placed in every event.
We thought the judges were being a lot harsher then in the past
but realized with now all meets
qualifying meets VS the old way
when there was only 3 meets that could
qualify you to state, we are figuring that
they are going to be judging a lot harder now.
