Adding another accomplishment to her list.
Erin this past week received an Academic Lettering
from her hearing school.
In order to receive this
you had to have a 3.67 or higher GPA.
She took 6 classes last year at the hearing school.
They do modify some of the writing and test taking requirements for her,
but she still has to do all the same amount of work
and participate in classes.
This is a huge accomplishment and also
self esteem as we struggle
with "I am not smart".
I had written a post about a month ago
about how a light bulb has gone off
and she really is working hard in
school and trying to read more and write.
A month later
she is still working hard on this.
Continue to soar my beautiful and smart daughter.
