Jade's Concert

About a month ago, Jade decided to join morning choir. I had to drop her off at school at 7 in the mornings on Mondays. She surprised us with Tickets for her concert on Thursday. Once the word got out, other members of my and Dave's family came. There was 11 of us watching her. The concert was call "PoP at the movie" all the music and singing was from movies themes. Considering Jade just joined a month ago, she learned the words to the two songs fast. We were really proud of her and enjoyed the whole show. The 3 younger girls did awesome and managed to stay awake the whole show which got done just after 10. Jade told me that she couldn't believe that many people would come and watch her and that she hasn't had that happen again. She was a natural up there on stage.

Friday, Dave was off from work, which he loved...We both donated blood in the morning, and then I went to the dentist and to work. When I came home, found out we were eating supper outside on our patio and that Dave had put up a canopy that we got from his parents on our patio. It was so nice to eat out there and relax. Looking forward having many more evenings out there. Tonight we had Jade's prom date over for supper, it was the first time meeting him. Things went well and surprising the 3 younger girls were quiet around Jade and Jason, it was kinda of weird since they are usually not stop talking. Later Jade's cousin and girlfriend came over and they hung out and watched "The Rock"...They watched the movie in the living room and Dave and I sat in the kitchen on the laptops. We have the room downstairs that they could have watched the movie in, but I didn't think they were going to watch movies tonight and my mom is in town and she stays in that room. We are experiencing what is like to have teenage friends around.
