Today marks the day we first correspondence with Jade. I had written an email to her on the 14th and we received an email back on the 15th, she started the email "Dear Mom and Dad" and asked if she could call us that. We of course said yes. It is hard to believe that is has already been a year since we first had contact with her. This is one of the 1st pictures she email us. She has been such a blessing in our family and was a perfect fit. We are patiently waiting for her to come back home to us in less then a month. She has only been gone a month and it seems like it has been forever. Jade is very kind hearted, considerate, loving, strong-minded,easily pleased, willing to try new things, not afraid to stand up for herself and her beliefs. She is a great big sister Monika, Katie and Jenny, she has taught them a lot along with teaching us a lot and not only about her life in China but also having another daughter, helping us learn about having a teenager in the house. The bottom line is I thank God for our paths crossing one another and accepting us as a 2nd set of parents. We love you Jade, and glad you are allowing us to be your mum and dad.
