Jade on Sunday (at my parents place) made this very good stirfry which called for onions. She was chopping them and of course her eyes got watery. She came out of the kitchen and grabbed the snowmobile goggles. It cured the tears. We do have a pampered Chef chopper, but it was being at that moment to cut up other items. As funny as she looked....she sure had a great idea on how to keep the tears away when cutting onions. Her stirfries turned out wonderful. It was made with Tofu and eggplants. She is a wonderful cook.

de all of the girls (she wasn't done with my yet) snuggies for Christmas. As you can see they are very long for the little ones. (Katie had her's all rolled up, so it doesn't look like she got a long one). When they walk around with them on, they turn them around so they look like capes. Now I have floor dusters.....My sister gave me mine this past Sunday and I love it. It just perfect for me.
Koudai enjoys making origamis. He said he can make over a 100 of them. He made Cranes (both the kind that has moveable wings and the none moveable wings) in all different sizes, frogs, peacocks, and flowers for all of us. He is very talented.
People have been asking a lot of questions about Erin and what we know. Unfortunately we don't know a lot right now, other then what was recently posted. We are making a list of questions that we are going to have our agency ask for us to see if we can get a better picture on what she is like and where is she is at with academics. We found out that she is in the Half the Sky program, we won't get the info in the file until after we bring her home, but at least we will have some more of her life pieces. We have been asked who is going over there China to bring her home. I and my sister are going for sure. Dave is 99.9% sure he is going. Jade will be going if it is during the summer, her mom's lives in Guangzhou, so she will visit her and be with us some of the time too. We would love to bring our girls with, but it will depend on the money situation. We won't know until close to TA.
Hi. Well that's pretty funny that Jade decided to wear goggles to cut the onions. It does make sense. Maybe we all should keep them in the kitchen for just that purpose.

Hey, can you explain who Koudai is? I must have missed that somewhere.
It's always neat to see that you guys have such good times with your extended family. Not all families are close that way, or even want to be. Definitely a blessing.
By the way, glad to hear you still have your job, even though it's a shift you don't prefer.

Laura, Koudai is my niece Cassie's boyfriend. He is a big teddy bear and adores kids and loves playing with them.
