Friday Was Here finally.
Monika didn't go to school,
instead she went to compete
at State Gymnastics.
The best of the best.
They train all fall
and have 3 chances to get to state.

One of Monika's old gymnastics teammate came
to support the girls. She brought her
10 day old sister with. She was a cutie
State Competition they are broken in age group.
The first group was 7-9 and 11 years old. There was 5 of them competing.
There was suppose to be 6, but one was sick.

She was very happy with her scores.
She was 16th place out of 50 girls in her age group
She score the highest in her club.
She also improved a couple of her scores.

Good thing Monika brought a change of clothes
for the last minute sleepover.
First 5 girls competing, all of them got at least one medal.
After the second session where 3 more girls in her level competed.
Overall we placed 13th place out of 25 gyms/
Saturday it was Katie's turn to compete.
She received only one medal and that was 10th place on Bars.

There was 3 sessions for Level 4,
some of the girls left that competed before we got a group shot.

They came and supported there teammates.

and was 25th out of 87 girls her age.

even though they are no longer getting the same scores,
they are still twins.
It was fun watching the girls compete and watching the other teams compete.
Once again very grateful for our gym.
Listening to some of the parents talk about how they expect certain scores
and weren't satisfy if there daughter were
getting mid 9's on events.
Our gym is happy if anyone get over a 9.
I am glad that the coach put expectations on the girls, but not so high that the pressure is very high for them.
