We have been invade by H1N1

Jenny came down with H1N1, on Tuesday night at supper time said she was tired and that her throat hurt a little bit, but still ate supper. She laid down for a little bit and woke up at 8 with a temp. around 102. She spent all day Wednesday and Thursday on the loveseat watching tv and coloring. Later Thursday, Dave decided to take her in because her temp got over 104 and she was complaining of a bad sore throat. They tested her for strep and she was negative so they said she has H1N1. I wasn't totally convinced, because even with a sore throat she was still eating what ever she wanted and drinking fine. Her temp for the rest of the evening stayed around 102-103. Some time she looked miserable and other times she didn't. I went to bed at 12:30 with her temp at 99. When I got up at 7:15 to check on her, she was 105.4 I put her in the tub right away and gave her tamiflu and tyl. that made her mad, she was cold and really dislikes the flavor of tamiflu. It is currently 11:40, temp is 99, she is confined on the loveseat which she is tired of. She has watch Alvin and the chipmunks and now going to watch Hotel for Dogs. her appetite and drinking is good. We now just need to pray she gets better fast and that no one else in the house gets sick.
Today is a special day in our house. Jade turned 18 years old. Because of Jenny being sick, we had to cancel going out to eat for her birthday and her birthday tomorrow. She is very understanding with it, but we feel bad about it. We did ask her what she wants for her birthday supper and she said homemade dumplings. Dave and I are going to make them, using her recipe. Hopefully we will get close to hers. she makes awesome dumplings. Happy birthday to you Jade.
We are still waiting on a PA for Erin. We sent it last Wednesday, got a phone call on Friday, CCAA had a couple of questions and it was resent on Friday. So we can say we are 7-9 days in waiting. I would like to say we started on Wednesday. Hopefully that means any day now.
This weekend we will be working on Monika with her reconciliation. The church wants the parents to be very involved with it. Monika is very excited for this and I am learning more and more about the Lord. I always had Jesus in my heart and always believed in him. I just wasn't someone that really spoke of it or focus on him. These past couple of months, I am really opening up and talking more freely about him and feeling more love from him. I feel that I will learn more every day as I help my girls learn more about Jesus and understand more.
