The girls had fun playing and Dave, Jade and I enjoyed watching them. We are thankful for the school for doing this for our girls and other kids.
Monika had gymnastic right after TBall, she mastered tonight back hand spring on the tampoline for the first time. When I got there to pick her up, she was so excited to show me.
We continue to pray for guidance with bringing Erin home, we are working on the on line classes that are required by Hague. Our agency that did the homestudy waived the classes, but the agency that has Erin files said they need proof that we did it and we don't have certificates for when we did parenting classes in 2005 pre-hague. Even though we are in crunch time right now we feel we will learn something from these courses and whatever we can learn to help us with Erin we will take it.
We are still waiting to see if we were selected to get any grants. We heard back from one that wanted updated information and hoping that is a good sign that they are considering us. Our agency sent us an invoice today wanting the next set of payments for the China fees for our liason in China can start getting us ready for our travels. We don't have all the money for it right now and hoping that we will able to delay it a little bit. Our garage sale (after we brought some stuff to Once upon a child, play it again sports and Plaxo) we netted around 1100 dollars so it was successful and thank you everyone that helped out with it whether donated, shopped, setup/takedown or prayed for us and the wonderful weather. Thank you Lord for making it successful. We don't have any more fundraisers scheduled right now, but we are looking in trying to do one or two more before we leave. One of the things we are looking into is trying as a family walk/run a 5k and have people sponsor us. We not sure how to do it, but are working on that. It has been two weeks since we sent Erin her care package. We figure she got it now, and wondering what she thought. We sent a self address envelope along and pray she will write to us. We are hoping that she didn't get to scared by receiving a package from "strangers" who is showing her, her new family. It is amazing, scary, overwhelming, and many other emotions knowing we could be with Erin in less then two months. I can't wait.

Sue, I did a cash calendar fundraiser. Depending on your social network and that of your friends, that might be something for you to consider. If you're unfamiliar with the idea, you create a calendar where every day has a drawing for cash prizes. Sometimes people modify this and get donations, so that the prizes are actually gift certificates to places instead of cash. If you want to check mine out, it's posted on my blog at http://gentleyears.weebly.com. Often, when they're for a good cause, people will tell you to keep their winnings. Good luck, anyway.
