The last one

Last meet of the season. Some of her teammates

Picking at her ear and talking with a friend.  I have learned to bring Monika down early to the meets, it helps calm her nerves.  This was her 5th meet and she was very relax and excited about it.

Introduction to each gym.  There was 90 kids in her level.

She has come so far on the beam.  Her first meet in November, she fell off the beam.  Since then she gets ok. marks on it.  This time, she shocked herself and world scoring an 8.975.  She can really get some air when she goes across the beam, this is her least favorite event.  Overall she was 20th place out of 90 kids.

Monika with Coach Erin before the floor.  Erin has been working hard on Monika, Monika performance on the beam was awesome, they said if she would do that all the time in practice, she will be a  superb gymnastic, Monika states she doesn't know why sometimes she can do it like that and other times she can't

Her medal from the meet, this was her best meet overall.  Each meet she improve on her scores, she made it over 32 this time.  She is so much fun to watch.  She was sadden that the competition meet season is over, but she is really working hard now.
