Monika and the long jump

This week has been a busy week for the younger girls.  It was their last full week of school after next Wednesday they will advance to the next level.  On Tuesday Katie and Jenny had their music showcase.  I wasn't able to attend due to work, but Dave was able and he said they both did awesome.  On Wednesday in the 90 degree weather, the school had track and field day.  They split the kids up in two groups.  Monika was in the morning, Katie and Jenny in the afternoon, so I got to spend mose of my day there with them.  It was hot and humid but they all did their best.  Each of them had 8 events that were 15 minutes long.

Monika finishing the 400 meter run under 2 minutes  Her dad told her if she came in first he would give her 3 dollars.  This is his favorite event.  She didn't come in first, but was very close.

Jenny came in 1st place and collected money from Dave.  Katie and Monika ran faster then Jenny by a couple of seconds

Monika really got into the musci and I had a couple of parents tell me that she was very entertaining to watch, below is a video of her signing, for some reason the volume didn't work but you can watch how she expressionalist.

Erin attended Cheerleading camp and will return tomorrow there.  I went up today to earlier today and her coach (also is her cousin), said Erin did really well except she didn't smile enough during the cheers and that is the goal she is working on right now.  She said she really enjoyed and was tired out from it.
