Today was a very special day for Katie, she has been looking forward to this day since Monika got her first communion.

The pictures are not in order and I couldn't get them in order due to my computer keep freezing up.  Katie recieving her first communion pictures are at the end of the email.  The dress that Katie is wearing is from her Aunt Ann, it was her first comminoun dress.

The family, we all have our own poses.  Jenny has makeup from her dance photo shot before Katie's first communion.  I had asked Erin if she would please smile in the family picture for Katie's sake.  She really didn't want to do it, but as you can tell she did it.

Katie almost didn't get her first communion today.  Saturday after Gymnastic she started to complain of her stomach hurting.  She slept most of the day away and woke up with a stomache still.  After eating a little bit, she started to bounce back and eating some more, she was back to her own self.  I prayed for her to get better as she was looking so forward to it.  I sat next to her during mass and she was so nervous and serious.  She was preoccupied that she couldn't even smile as she was so afraid she was going to do something wrong or forget something, but she did a wonderful job.  Congrats to you Katie.
